MOVING ON

Yesterday was the last day of the st wilfrid's exhibition at pallant hse, all the work was collected and we had sold 13 out of the 40 pieces, so delighted with that, will keep you posted about how much we raised for the hospice.

Now I am working on a new project, I have been asked to use some of my photo images to print up as greetings cards, so very excited about that. will have them for sale on my web site too.

I am also longing to get back into my studio, the exhibition had taken a lot of time with all the admin, but the paints are calling me.

NOW YOU SEE IT... this stunning blossom lasted about two weeks, but is has still left a beautiful tree. mother nature is a very clever woman.

BUSY WEEKS

Wow its been some busy weeks, the exhibition for St Wilfrid's Hospice has been very well received, great feed back and lots of sales. It finishes on the 24th May so if you haven't had chance to pop in there please do.

I have been sorting out my studio, I am not precious about it being the cleanest place on earth but it was a mess, my dog will sit at my feet (or under them if she can) or sometimes find her fav toys to chew.... there are great lumps of bright red or turquoise plastic, fluffy and rubber dog toys all over the floor, it looks like something out of ER...so I did get the hoover out.

Also spent lovely happy hours sorting out my art books, it was a joy, and I must admit it was great to feel all that inspiration being stoked up again.

I also had the camera out this week, got some great shots for greetings cards.

love the light in this one.
